In 2014, the award-winning Pig Hotel opened The Pig near Bath. While a success at launch, it wasn’t recognised culturally and W was briefed to put it on the map as a premiere luxury staycation destination.
With Glastonbury on its doorstep, W suggested a campaign to secure stays with leading figures in the music and entertainment industry around this iconic event and make The Pig THE place to stay when attending the festival – and through the year.
Via our network of talent contacts and WOM engagement we’ve helped secure over 600 VIPs and industry lynchpins, from rock icons to A-list Hollywood film stars. In fact, it has become so well established as a ‘namedrop’ venue in its own right that The Pig no longer offers ‘on account stays’ since all involved are prepared to pay for their rooms.
