With 75% of UK weddings postponed due to Covid-19, ride-hailing app FREE NOW is launching the UK’s first drive-through wedding.
During coronavirus, three-quarters of all planned UK weddings were postponed, so the mobility provider will be gifting one lucky couple with an all-expenses paid service and £1000 towards their honeymoon, by launching the The UK’s first drive-through Wedding Service with Free Now.
Working with client FREE NOW, previously Kapten, five couples will be chosen to be wed by an agnostic celebrant in a beautiful central London location. The groom-to-be will be picked up in a black cab, and the blushing bride will be collected in a white PHV. Naturally… They will reunite at the aisle of their drive-through wedding ceremony where they’ll exchange their rings and vows.
Bringing a touch of Las Vegas to the UK, the UK’s first drive-through wedding service will take place in London on 10th September.
